Home Owners Insurance

  • Homeowners insurance is a form of property insurance that covers losses and damages to an individual's house and assets in the home.

  • The policy usually covers interior damage, exterior damage, loss or damage of personal assets, and injury that arises while on the property.

  • Every homeowners insurance policy has a liability limit, which determines the amount of coverage the insured has should an unfortunate incident occur.

Auto Insurance

  • Auto insurance provides property, liability and medical coverage:

  • Property coverage pays for damage to, or theft of, the car.

  • Liability coverage pays for the policyholder’s legal responsibility to others for bodily injury or property damage.

  • Medical coverage pays for the cost of treating injuries, rehabilitation and sometimes lost wages and funeral expenses.

Commercial Trucking Insurance

Fleet of Trucks
  • The two basic types of commercial trucking insurance are general liability and primary liability. A standard general liability commercial truck insurance policy covers:

  • Damage to property and commodities: It provides coverage for damage caused by your truck to someone else’s property, as well as damage to commodities you are hauling (e.g., if they are delivered to the wrong location).

  • Bodily injury: If your truck causes injury to a person, your commercial trucking insurance will pay for resulting medical bills and cover you in case of a lawsuit. It can also help protect you from liability if another person is injured on your property.

  • False advertising, libel, and slander: General liability coverage helps protect you against lawsuits for libel, slander, or false advertising. This protection may be needed if you use any type of advertising.

  • Primary liability insurance is also required for truckers under FMCSA regulations. It is designed to protect others from bodily injury or property damage if a truck causes an accident.

Business & Commercial  Insurance

  • Commercial insurance consists of one or more types of coverage designed to protect businesses, their owners and their employees. Many business insurance policies include basic coverages such as property, liability, crime and commercial auto insurance, as well as other optional insurance, such as business interruption insurance, equipment breakdown insurance, and workers compensation.

  • Add Cyber Insurance Employee benefits such as dental, vision, disability and group life insurance also fall under commercial insurance, as do surety bonds which help ensure that contractors stick to the terms of a construction contract and/or follow governmental rules and regulations, as well as protect against losses stemming from a court decision or employee theft.
